TOUR OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate tours, transfers, itineraries and ground arrangements for international visitors.
  • Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, tour guides and local suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee guest arrivals, departures, transfers and activities.
  • Ensure tours are delivered according to itinerary, service standards and guest requirements.
  • Handle operational issues and provide effective solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Liaise with overseas agents/partners and local suppliers on bookings and special arrangements.
  • Monitor tour costs, supplier arrangements and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and coordinate the tour operations team, including guides and drivers.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years tourism/travel agency experience is required including previous experience in similar supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills with good knowledge of local tourism products. Proficient in English, Malay and Chinese language.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and Public Holidays when required.

📍Location: Bandar Office

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of Freme Rainforest Lodge (FRL) and ensure smooth guest services.
  • Oversee staff, housekeeping, maintenance and lodge activities to maintain service standards.
  • Coordinate with tour guides, boatmen, drivers and other teams to ensure smooth guest arrangements and tours.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, safety and upkeep of the lodge, facilities and surrounding areas.
  • Handle guest requests, feedback and operational issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies and lodge facilities.
  • Conduct regular checks and report any maintenance, safety or operational issues to management.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training and daily task coordination.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, resort or tourist service provider operations is required, including experience in similar supervisory roles.
  • Must be responsible, hands-on, physically fit and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and Public Holidays.
  • HSE Certification is an advantage

DRIVER (BASED IN SERIA / KB)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Transfers to Bandar Seri Begawan / Miri and assist with courier deliveries when required.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained
  • General assistance around the office and for events as required.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 3 Driving Licence
  • Basic vehicle/mechanical knowledge is an advantage
  • Able to communicate in English, Malay & Mandarin is an advantage
  • Willing to work nights, weekends & Public Holidays (OT provided)
  • Must be physically fit and in good health

BOATMAN

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate boats and tour/transfer vehicles safely for guest transfers and tours.
  • Conduct safety checks and basic maintenance of boats, vehicles and safety equipment.
  • Assist tour guides, handle guest baggage, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and surroundings.
  • Monitor and report river conditions, safety hazards, damaged equipment and maintenance issues.
  • Assist with general grounds and facility maintenance at FRL.

Requirements:

  • Previous boating, driving is preferred.
  • Boatman licence/certification and Class 3 Driving Licence are an advantage.
  • Must be physically fit, safety-conscious and willing to work outdoors, including weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Good communication skills in English and Malay.

JAPANESE SPEAKING TOUR GUIDE/OPERATIONS
(日本語ガイド／オペレーションスタッフ)

Job responsibilities (業務内容):

  • Develop and plan tour itineraries, ensuring they align with customer preferences and company objectives.
    (お客様のご要望や会社の目的に合わせたツアーの企画・立案を行う)
  • Coordinate logistics, transportation and accommodation arrangements for tours, including guide and driver assignments.
    (ガイドやドライバーの手配を含め、ツアー、送迎、宿泊施設の手配を調整する)
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
    (お客様からの問い合わせや懸念事項、フィードバックなどに迅速かつプロフェッショナルに対応する)
  • Conduct guided tours delivering engaging, accurate, and informative commentaries.
    (正確で有益な説明を行いながら、ガイド付きツアーを実施する)
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and overall satisfaction of guests throughout the tour.
    (ツアー中のゲストの安全、快適さ、そして全体的な満足度を確保する)
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with service providers to ensure smooth tour operations.
    (サービス提供事業者との効果的な連絡・調整を行い、円滑なツアー運営を行う)
  • Handle guest enquiries, requests, and unforeseen situations promptly and professionally.
    (ゲストからの問い合わせ、要望、不測の事態に迅速かつプロフェッショナルに対応する)

Requirements (応募資格):

  • Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. Proficient in English and Japanese language (written and oral).
    (優れたコミュニケーション能力、調整力、問題解決能力。英語および日本語（読み書き・会話）に堪能であること)
  • Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and Public Holidays when required.
    (必要に応じて、変則勤務、週末、祝日の勤務に対応できること)
  • Previous experience in travel industry and possession of Tour Guide License an advantage.
    (旅行業界での実務経験があり、ツアーガイドライセンスをお持ちの方は優遇あり)
