The tour begins with pick up from your hotel. Highlights of the tour will be a scenic boat ride around the biggest Malay water village in the world and visit to a local home where you can observe the daily livelihood of typical villagers living in houses on stilts on the Brunei River. Local refreshments will be served. You will also be taken to visit the Brunei Maritime Museum, Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, the Royal Regalia Exhibition Hall, photo stop at the entrance of the Royal Palace and visit to the stunning Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque. Your tour ends with transfer back to your hotel.

Ulu Temburong National Park – Occupies approximately 50,000 hectre of the Batu Apoi Forest Reserve which is located in the Temburong district. The park’s locality and steep, swampy terrain have limited human impact on the area which helped to preserve its rich biodiversity. Established forest trails through the park of 7 KM of wooden walkways protects the ground vegetation and helps prevent erosion. A canopy walkaway affords visitors an opportunity to observe the rain forest’s diverse treetop ecosystem.

Your nature escapade starts with pick up from your hotel and a drive through the 30 KM long Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Bridge to the Temburong District. On arrival at Freme Rainforest Lodge, you will be given a briefing on the safety measures to be taken during the tour. Refreshing morning coffee and tea will be served before continuing your journey to Ulu Temburong National Park by “Temuai” longboat which will take around 40-50 minutes of scenic river cruise depending on the water level. During low water level season, you will have the privilege of getting wet to push the long boat upstream against the water currents. Upon arrival at the park centre, register and get your park entry pass before proceeding on your nature trek and canopy walk adventure. On your return, you will explore the waterfalls and Natural Fish SPA, rafting or kayak activities. Lunch will be served on the riverbank at the Rainforest Lodge. After lunch, you will be at free at leisure before transfer back to hotel.

Greet by the Chief of the village and go through a custom welcome ceremony. Walk through the suspension bridge to Mari Mari Cultural village.

Visit Dusun House to witness the demonstration of Tobacco cutting, bamboo cooking and rice wine processing.
Watch the villages on how to make ethnic bangles out of rattan.
Visit Lundayeh House to witness the demonstration on the olden ways and Pandan juice. You will see a myriad of colourful materials of antique ancestral obkects, selfie photography at decorative bridal parlour.
Visit the Head Hunter Tribes, the famous Murut Longhouse.

Watch the traditional peformance by the various indigenous tribes.

12:00 PM
Enjoy authentic set lunch in the Cultural village.

1:30 PM
Depart from MMCV heading towards city center and follow by Kota Kinabalu sightseeing.
