This tour serves as a perfect introduction to Brunei. It starts with a visit to the grand mosque Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, completed in 1994 to commemorate the monarch’s 25-year rule. The mosque features 29 golden domes, symbolizing the 29th ruler of Brunei. Afterwards, we will drive through the city and visit the Malay Technology Museum, followed by a photo stop at the magnificent Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, renowned as one of the most beautiful mosques in Asia. Next on the itinerary is the Royal Regalia Museum which houses the regalia of the Sultan and the royal family. The tour concludes with a photo stop at Nurul Iman Palace.
Depart from Hotel.
Visit the Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque.
Visit the Malay Technology Museum or similar.
Photo stop at Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
Visit the Royal Regalia Museum.
Photostop at Istana Nurul Iman (Sultan’s Palace)
Transfer back to Hotel.
Our tour does not operate on Fridays or during any religious public holidays.
*Visitors are only allowed to walk around the Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque and its surrounding due to the ongoing renovations.
Photography is not allowed inside the Mosques and Museums. Ladies visitors are required to wear a black coat/robe (provided by the Mosque) before entering the Mosque. Shoes must be taken off before entering the Mosque and the Royal Regalia Museum.
Places of interest may be closed due to local holidays. All business premises will be closed on Friday between 12 pm to 2 pm.
