Teacher’s Day Promo Trip

Teachers do so much for us and expect nothing in return. So to show our appreciation we had the pleasure of taking a large group of teachers on a fun filled day away. Over the last couple of weekends in September teachers from ISB, Sekolah Menengah Saidina Osman and Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Ali arrived at the Bandar waterfront eager to enjoy a well-earned day off.

Upon arrival into Temburong, the crowd of smiling faces were met by our friendly guides and driven into the heart of the rainforest for a day of action packed adventure. We enjoyed every moment with these fabulous teachers and thank you for all the hard work that you do!

With a European Atmosphere the cities of Moscow & St Petersburg weave both modern and historical fabrics to form Russia’s cultural heartland. Tourism in the country has seen significant growth recently, due to its rich cultural heritage. Between the months of May & October produce the best conditions for visiting Russia. Attractions such as St Basil’s Cathedral, Red Square, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow and the Fortress of St. Peter and Paul, Gostiny Dvor shopping gallery, and the Hermitage museum in Saint Petersburg are amongst the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

Russian cuisine and culture are at the core of Freme’s 11 day Fascinating Russia group tour. Sample the delights of Russia’s famous exotic soups such as the cabbage schi and borsch whilst watching the circus. Previous groups to Russia have called the Russian food amazing. Become enthralled with the world famous cultural contributions of the Russian people. Literary greats such as Tolstoy and Dostoevsky are celebrated in Monuments and Galleries around Moscow & Saint Petersburg. Classical ballet of the Bolshoi theatre is considered to be the best in the world, whilst Russia’s triumphs in the international space race are preserved in the memorial museum of Cosmonauts. On this all-inclusive tour through these great cities your memories will last a lifetime.

Moscow is the capital of Russia and its largest city. Moscow holds a special place at the epicentre of the country’s most pivotal movements. The streets echo with stories of triumph, tragedy and innovation. Forged in the fires of war many of Moscow’s iconic landmarks serve as tributes to the unbreakable spirit of the Russian people. On a historical tour of the city there is no shortage of attractions. From the Vorobyovy Gory a panoramic view of the Kremlin, Red Square and Saint Basil’s Cathedral allow you to see 1000s of years into Russia’s cultural history.

No trip to Moscow would be complete without an introduction to the famous Matryoshka or Russian dolls. The Matryoshka is a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside another. As part of this 11 day cultural experience, you will be given the opportunity to take part in the making of the dolls, which previous group tour member Ms. Ying Ying Teo called this an “excellent experience”.

Named one of Russia’s most beautiful cities, Saint Petersburg is Russia’s second largest city with a population of 5 million people. Saint Petersburg is home to Russia’s number 1 tourist attraction and TripAdvisor’s 2015 travel choice winner: the State Hermitage Museum. Founded in 1764 by Catherine the great, the Hermitage Museum is the largest museum in Russia, housing more than 3 million works of art. Literary & Artistic greats are honoured just as much as adventurers. As such, pieces from Russian and European masters are on display in the museum. Saint Petersburg is also home to Peterhof or the Russian Versailles.

Peterhof was the summer residence of the Tsars. Included in its complex, the Grand Palace is surrounded by many smaller pagodas and palaces. Scattered amongst the grounds are over 150 fountains and 3 waterfalls which incorporate the beauty of the palace. A cruise through the rivers and canals of this enchanting city creates the proper atmosphere to view the splendour of Peter the Great’s architectural brilliance.

Earlier this year a group of 30 travellers made up of couples, solo travellers and a family embarked on this fascinating tour of Russia. According to their Feedback this tour had excellent sightseeing opportunities and the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and efficient, which meant they didn’t feel rushed and received an amazing cultural experience of Russia.
